Sashana joined the Social Insights team in June 2021.

 

Sashana Rowe-Harriott is people-centered and passionate about working on projects that are in service to others, particularly among underserved groups. Her immigrant experience and core value of interdependence inform her commitment to advocacy and equity and shape her work as a researcher. She is a Research and Evaluation Associate at Social Insights who supports research projects and the implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans, including projects with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Magnolia Mother’s Trust, and Center for Third World Organizing.

She is skilled at developing solutions to complex challenges and maintaining an eye for detail. Drawing from her experience in community mental health settings, she approaches her work with her heart and not just her head. She overflows with joy by maximizing every moment outdoors, watching comedies, spending time with her family and community, and staying connected to her purpose through her work. She is fluent in English and Jamaican Patois.
